

"Aulas en Paz" Proyect
The Aulas en Paz program promotes the prevention of school violence on a larger scale through the implementation of citizenship competencies in teachers and the development of social-emotional skills in children from the second to fifth grade of primary school.

In order to measure the effectiveness of the approach used by the project, Swissocial is quantitatively assessing the impact of the project on the beneficiaries. This involves evaluating the effects of the project A”ulas en Paz” at the school age on their personal and social development, including learning of other disciplines.

The Personal and Educational Development Index (IDEPE) to measure the impact when the beneficiaries are children and pre-adolescents between the ages of 6 and 12, and adolescents and young people between the ages of 13 and 18. The IDEPE uses 9 indicators to quantitatively determine the different changes (intended and unintended; positive or negative) experienced by the beneficiaries that are directly or indirectly attributable to the project.
The nine indicators used are the following:
